Today I´m showing you one of my favourite layoutes made with the Cést Magnifique June kit.

When I opened this kit I immediately fell for the yellow zipper and I knew I had to do something fun with it, and here is the result. For this project I used products from the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on, the Mixed Media Kit and the Flower Add-on.

Altered box

Here´s my second project with the june kit from Cést Magnifique!

In the Mixed Media Kit there was a box that I just had to alter. I started by adding some texture to it with modeling paste and the beautiful stencil in the Mixed Media Kit. Then, I added some of the chipboard onto the top of the box. When the glue had dried I painted the whole box with black acrylic paint. Then I dry brushed it with white acrylic paint. I decorated the lid with some flowers and the C’est Magnifique Fairy Frost Glitter. For this project I used products from the Mixed Media Kit, the Embellishment Add-on and the Flower Add-on.

Sunday memories

You have to look at the june kit from Cést Magnifique! It´s so beautiful! It´s filled with Blue Ferns papers and lots of beautiful embellishments and mixed media products! Here´s my first layout with the kit, made inspired by the beautiful sketch for june.

Exploding box

Today I´m sharing my last project with the May Kit, an exploding box!

For this project I used products from the Main Kit and the Flower Add-On. I have also used the stick pins and the white flower from the April Kit.

I really love exploding boxes just because of the wow effect when you open the lid.

The best brother

Today I´m showing you my first layout made with the May Kit. I had a really fun time creating with this kit, I hope you do the same!

My first layout is with a photo of my sister’s son. I just love this photo, taken in the rear view mirror in a car. For this layout I used products from the Main Kit, the Flower Add-On and the Mixed Media Kit.

Little prince

Detta var den bild vi utmanades att skapa efter hos ARTastic i maj. Visst är den läcker. Kriteriet var att använda stjärnor. Min tolkning ser ni här under.

Jag gjorde en layout på min systerson i lite coolare stil. Titeln på tavlan är ”The return of the young prince” så jag inspirerades av den titeln i min egen rubrik.

My little treasure box – a mixed media tutorial

Idag är det dags för mig att visa mitt sista projekt hos Hobbyworld.

Today it is time for me to show my last project at Hobbyworld.

Det här är en box som jag haft länge som förvaring till diverse småsaker. Där i har jag under åren satt roliga saker som jag hittat eller enstaka dekorationer som blivit kvar från någon förpackning. Den står nära mig på arbetsbordet i scraprummet så att jag lätt kan gräva i den när jag behöver lägga till något roligt på mina alster. Jag har alltid kallat den för min treasure box eftersom man kan hitta massor av skatter i den av alla de möjliga slag. 🙂 Och nu var det dags att pimpa upp den lite.

This is a box that I have had for a long as storage for different small items. Over the years I have put in fun things that I found or single decorations left over from any packaging. It stands close to me on the worktable in my scraproom so that I can easily dig in when I need to add some fun on my projects. I have always called it my treasure box because you can find lots of treasures in all the possible kinds. 🙂 And now it was time to pimp it up a little.

Jag började med att tömma ur hela boxen och målade den därefter med svart akrylfärg.************************I started to empty the entire box and painted it with black acrylic paint.

Sedan använde jag en mask och lite texture paste för att skapa lite struktur på boxen.

Then I used a mask and a bit Texture Paste to create some structure in the box.

Efter det var det dags för en massa dekorationer. Jag började med blommor och metalldekorationr och sedan tog jag lite smått och gott från min treasure box och satte lite överallt.

After that it was time for a lot of decorations. I started with flowers and metal embellishments and then I took some goodies from my treasure box and put a bit of everything.

Sedan började det roliga! Jag använde grön, gul och svart mist och sprayade över alla dekorationer. När allt torkat tog jag vit akrylfärg och torrborstade, både på dekorationerna och på själva boxen.

Then the fun started! I used green, yellow and black mist and sprayed over all of the decorations. Once everything had dried, I took white acrylic paint and dry brushed, both on the decorations and the actual box.

På framsidan gjorde jag en skylt av Tim Holtz resistpapper, mist och bokstäver så att man vet vad som är i.

On the front I made a sign of Tim Holtz resistpapper, mist and letters so that you know what´s in it.

Självklart behövde jag lite dekoationer även här så jag fortsatte att limma fast blommor och annat smått och gott.

Obviously, I needed some decorations here too so I continued to glue the flowers and other goodies.

Även här mistade jag med gul, grön och svart mist och torrborstade med vit akrylfärg.

Even here I misted with yellow, green and black mist and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

Jag känner mig nöjd med min box och nu passar den ännu bättre in på mitt skrivbord i scraprummet.

I feel pleased with my box and now it fits better into my desk in scrap room.
