Tutorial on Fabric flowers

Today I would like to show you how to easily make your own fabric flowers. You can do them in many different variations and colours. I chose to do mine plain white so that I can colour them later if I want.
1 2
The only things you need are some fabric, a round circle, a glue gun and a center piece.
I started by folding the fabric in half and then I cut strips along the entire length. How long a piece you need depends on how big a flower you want to do. The easiest way is to try it out.
Then you put some glue around the circle and begin attaching the fabric around the circle’s edge.
Once you have done a lap proceed only on the next. Then proceed inwards until you are satisfied.
Glue on some embellishment in the middle of the flower. I have used some metal flowers and a flat back pearl. Now your flower is ready to be used. If you want you can easily colour the flower with different kinds of mists.
I also made a flower where I continued with fabric strips all the way to the middle.
Good luck making your own flowers!

ARTastic tags

ARTastics january challenge is to make a free scrap and be inspired by the painting below. I did two tags for this month. I was inspired by the colours  and the brick wall. I have decorated with a lot of chipboard, including a brick wall and a lantern.  The big flower I made myself and you can find a tutorial in this month’s  3T’s.

On both of them I´ve used flowers from Prima and chipboards from Wycinanka for decorations.

The big flower I made myself and you can find a tutorial in by blog tomorrow.

Hurry up and participate in ARTastics january challenge!

Altered frame

My last project with the january kit from Cést Magnifique is an altered frame. I took the frame from the Mixed Media Kit and put many different layers on it; acrylic paint, texture paste and inca gold in different colours. I decorated with some flowers from the Flower Add-On.

If you haven’t seen all the lovely products in the Mixed Media Kit and Add-Ons, hurry up and go to the C’est Magnifique Storeand look them up! They are so lovely and fun to work with!

remember this

Here’s another layout of my son and his big eyes. This layout is made with products from Cést Magnifiques january kit. On this page I’ve used products from the Main Kit, the Mixed Media Kit and the Flower Add-On. Here I chose to put the photo in the middle of the layout.

Today was amazing

Just wanted to show you another one of my layouts with the january kit from Cést Magnifique!

For this layout I used products from the Main Kit and Mixed Media Kit. I cut different papers into strips and used them as a photo mat. In the Mixed Media Kit was this gorgeous blue flower. I dry brushed it with white paint and powered with Perfect Pearls.DSC_0420 (3)Hugs
